Transfer to Kent Music

MANAGEMENT OF KYJO FROM 1 SEPTEMBER:
The Trustees agreed to transfer management of KYJO to Kent Music from 1 September 2026.
This gives KYJO members the opportunity of enjoying the benefits of being part of a larger organisation, whilst continuing to develop their interest in big band jazz.
Rehearsals continue to be held at Invicta Grammar School on Tuesday evenings under the direction of Mike Austin and Dan Banks.

Membership of Kent Music allows access to its music hubs across Kent including tuition if needed, as well as continuing membership of KYJO. This is at a lower cost than the previous KYJO subscription and financial support is still available from Kent and Medway Young Musicians' Trust for those eligible.
